"7 Tricks Successful People Use to Overcome their Fear of Failure"

The Versatile Blogger Award

I am honored to have received another Award, the ‘The Versatile Blogger’ Award thanks to the very special mother – daughter team of onebridgeofhope.wordpress.com. They are determined to help teenagers in difficult times and show so much compassion, love and wisdom from both a teenager’s side as well as a mother’s side. It’s worth to check out their blog!

I myself have now nominated very unique blogs which have all found in their very own style their own special voice:

The Versatile Blogger Award

There are some rules associated with this award which can be found at http://versatilebloggeraward.wordpress.com/vba-rules/

The rules ask me to tell 7 things about me. So here they are:
1. I have a cup of coffee with me wherever I go.
2. I live in an artificial paradise.
3. I have the most amazing friends from all over the world. That goes for cyber world as well as real world.
4. I love pianos and music in general.
5. I cannot draw – at all!
6. I hate carrots
7. I love to go places I have never been before.

Congratulaions! You deserve it!

Many congratulations Ilka, and once again, thanks so much for thinking of me and for your lovely words! I enjoyed reading some interesting facts about you, I too love going to new places, love music and cannot draw!!

Would love to know more about the ‘artificial paradise’ in which you live!!

I look forward to taking a look at the other blogs which you’ve nominated (some I already follow!) and I wish you a very happy day, my lovely new cyber friend 🙂

Thanks you so much Sherri. My ‘artificial paradise’ is Abu Dhabi – Dubai. It is so convenient to live here, I meet so many interesting people from all over the world and learn so much about so many cultures, but at the same time is all – well – artificially made.

[…] What a boost to my blogging confidence when Simplyilka nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award. I cannot wait for my nephews to visit so I can try out her blogs using the baking powder and vinegar trick and also the one using the induction cooking. Her site is well worth a visit and is found at http://simplyilka.com/2013/11/23/the-versatile-blogger-award/. […]

I can’t draw either. Not even a stick figure. Congrats on the award.

Thank you so much! When my girl was very little I so failed drawing a lion that I ended up buying an easy drawing book for 4-year olds. My girl did better than me. She still laughs about the hamster I tried to draw which turned out extremly choppy.
